Coffeeshop Dispatch Vol. 12

So May was a wonderful whirlwind! Incredible month sharing this new body of work in the show! The reception on the 16th was amazing and I’m so thankful for all the support from friends and family near and far!!! My cup runneth over.

The works from this show are a wide array of techniques that I’m really thrilled I made the time to experiment with. The pieces will be available thru my site after the show is taken down and will include a limited run of 2 of the pieces from the show that will be available as pre-orders.

My shop is currently closed as I’m doing a bit of a reset and will re-open for a small summer sale in mid July to include the show pieces. I’m paring down a lot of things in hopes to offer more thoughtful and curated work with more of my hand involved. Ay-Eye has no place here.

Coming soon!

I’ve finally set up a small UV exposure box to create cyanotypes in my studio when the sun isn’t cooperating. I’m working on a series of smalls that expand upon the show pieces exploring the sky above both day and night. Each piece is mounted on matboard and ready to frame with individual details added with either paint or chalk making them one of a kinds. All will be signed and dated as well.

These pieces will be available for purchase in my summer sale mid July.

This is a short post this month as I’m taking time to work on some personal projects now that the show is over, get the pieces up on the site and plan for a road trip on July. I’ve also had several freelance gigs in between the show that have taken time away from the studio but in a good way that expand my community. Your girl needs to pay the bills and save for a new camera, lol! So now I’m eager to get back to the fun summer list I’ve been making!

I hope that the summer starts with some happiness and even joy for people even as we navigate the rollercoaster we are all on currently. I’m savoring everything that makes my shoulders drop. I hope you all can too.

Thanks for being here~
