Triple- Original printed photograph transferred onto canvas (Copy)

$600.00

This photograph was taken in Scotland at Melrose Abbey. The remaining architecture still creates a massive presence and I wanted to communicate that in this image while emphasizing the age and evolution of the stone. The image has been tile printed in sections, adhered to the canvas surface with gel medium then the paper fibers are burnished off showing just the image. I intentionally left spaces between the images as well as some of the paper fibers to further communicate the age and condition of this magical place.

Digital photograph mounted on 20” x 20” 1 1/2” canvas, ready to hang.
