128 * I & 128 II- Solvent Transfer on board mounted on Chestnut

$200.00

The Pantheon in Rome. I wanted to communicate the light when you enter by letting these imperfect images float on top of heavy weight to symbolize the importance of this building. The street level has literally been build up around it…making it look like it has sunk when actually it’s at ground level. Impenetrable. Completed maybe in 128. Still standing.

This is a digital photograph that was printed and transferred to mat board using solvent. The board was then cut and mounted onto thick chestnut wood board.

Solvent Transfer on board mounted on Chestnut 10” x 10” x 3”, ready to hang.
